Colourshop’s craft for song writing has been honed through playing shows throughout Europe including Netherlands, Poland, Spain, France, Italy and at venues and festivals in the UK.
Their uniqueness is driven by their latin roots with compelling melodies and a synergy between the two brothers that delivers amazing harmonies and a tightness live, that sets them apart from the competition.
Growing up in a small town in the hills just outside Rome, they picked up their father's Bulgarian red guitar and at the tender age of 5 (Diego) and 9 (Alfredo) they started to play. Influenced by artists ranging from Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Neil Young and Italian singers song-writers, the brothers were driven to learn the piano and grew up sharing every single note of their life.
The two brothers began to record and produce their own music twelve years ago, also developing studio engineering skills which enabled them to produce their own recordings.
Their debut album called “The Summer of my Life” was released in May 2009 with “Sparks” following in 2011.
They moved to London in 2012 to pursue their dream and have already played in some of the most important venues on the singer songwriter circuit; such as The Bedford, The Regal Room, The Troubadour and every open mic night imaginable all armed with an acoustic guitar and an unstoppable dedication.
2013 is going to be an exciting year for Colourshop. They will be performing in Berlin in May and several UK festivals during the Summer. Intune Addicts are working with the band in the UK to help develop their music career.
