INFO FOR BANDS

Hi, The Good Ship is a uniquely shaped vessel that has hosted acts as diverse as Adele and And So I Watch you From Afar. Loads of bands that are household names have played, countless who never escaped the toilet circuit, many of those were miles better than the bands who made it so we’ll stop the namedropping at A.

We put on all types of music here and we try to be as all encompassing as possible but it’d be insincere of us to put on a night of music we did not like so please do not be too offended if your stuff really is not our cup of tea. We love world music, folk, massively outside the box sounds, post punk, shoegaze and generally well considered stuff. There again every now and then you just want to hear The Ramones. We will definitely have a good listen.

So, if you are looking for a show and you think your band is great get in touch. We’re most interested in what you sound like and we will absolutely put bands on bills that are as complimentary as is possible. We do not make you sell tickets, charge you to play or employ any of the other tricks that some of London’s gig circuit does in order to fleece musicians, we want to be your friend! We will pay you 100% of the door takings after minimal costs, but that said we are not miracle workers, if noone has heard of you then you will need to be taking promotion at least as seriously as us.
